Step of Faith

You never know
the countless angles
waiting to be shown

Frequently you cannot see the path
that will take you
exactly where you need to go

Just take just take just take
one small step of faith
You may be afraid

Aware of past and potential mistakes
that could be made
You’re more than a sinner or a saint

Relax your head and contemplate
the next breath’s best for you to take

There’s always the factor of fear
the shadow of failure lurking near
But if you never make the try
you’ll never come to know
the places only you are destined to roam..
